WATCH: John Oliver Hilariously Rips Apart Anti-Gay Protests On The Daily Show

If you’re on this site, there is a good chance that you enjoy watching The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as much as I do. The show has me laughing every Monday through Thursday night, and they always make excellent points. One issue which they often tackle is same-sex marriage, and I am never disappointed. The make a great argument with comedy, and they do it without being offensive to the gay community. Even with John Oliver filling in for Jon Stewart, this trend continues.

This clip from June is, in my belief, one of the best marriage equality segments in show history.

About Jacob Daruvala

I am a 17 year old progressive from California. I first became interested in politics when President Obama ran for president in 2008. He was the first person I recognized as a modern day leader that I admired. Despite not being able to vote, I excitedly talked to people about him. This introduced me to the world of politics. I trained myself on the issues, I became more interested in history, and eventually decided that the world of politics would be my career. My interests in progressive writing are very broad. From LGBT rights, to universal healthcare, I am dedicated to using my voice to fight for what is right. Follow my articles here: https://twitter.com/JacobDaruvala
