Egypt’s Democratic Revolution Proves The Internet Is An Aid To Democracy (VIDEO)

The following video is both inspiring and awe-inspiring — it shows how the internet can and is being used as a tool to free people from oppression. In Egypt, Facebook pages played a vital role in showing solidarity against an oppressive regime. The communication tools found on the internet allowed these people to come together in an open-source, decentralized way, and the result was the freedom of a people.
