The United States And Canada Share A Very Strange Border, It Turns Out (VIDEO)

Borders are a concept that enter the news much too often. Deadly wars are fought over them in places such as India and Pakistan, Israel and Palestine. In the U.S. there is a country – wide debate over what should happen to the borders, who should be allowed to cross and who should be allowed to stay. One thing about borders that is not in the news, however, is the amazing arbitrary nature of choosing borders, and the silliness of piecing these borders together.

Watch this video via Upworthy.com about the Canada and U.S. border:

“I always just assumed that America and Canada had a mature relationship. One look at this nonsensical border gives a lot of insight into the infrastructural problems of both countries.”

About Jacob Daruvala

I am a 17 year old progressive from California. I first became interested in politics when President Obama ran for president in 2008. He was the first person I recognized as a modern day leader that I admired. Despite not being able to vote, I excitedly talked to people about him. This introduced me to the world of politics. I trained myself on the issues, I became more interested in history, and eventually decided that the world of politics would be my career. My interests in progressive writing are very broad. From LGBT rights, to universal healthcare, I am dedicated to using my voice to fight for what is right. Follow my articles here: https://twitter.com/JacobDaruvala
